Jo is passionate about events and bringing a variety of different experiences to the Bay of Plenty region. She specializes in sponsorship, marketing, and prides herself in a very high delivery of customer service. Jo believes that events are all about creating experiences - the things that shape us and make us who we are. Hence the direction to design event experiences that create lasting impressions. Jo strategically plans every event detail and always goes the extra mile for clients to make sure we’re creating events we would want to stay for.
Estelle holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies, majoring in Management Communication and Public Relations. She has a strong background in social media and web content management, and provides contract management, communications and administration support to a wide range of projects. Estelle worked for Cheeky Rooster for over 4 years where her responsibilities included: • communications project/campaign planning and delivery • project research • copywriting • website content management • social media strategy development and delivery
Shelley is the creative force behind Elements of Design & Styling. Shelley’s business has evolved out of her knowledge and passion for all things creative. When it comes to special occasions, her mission is to bring your vision to life by creating one-of-a kind events. Shelley took the lead in running the 2014 Annual Charity Garden Party & Fashion Parade. As the overall coordinator, she then formed The Pink Angels Charity and came up with an idea to run a unique calendar, securing celebrity models like Tame Iti, Brad Kora, Sam Clarke and other local identities. The 2014 event raised $17,000 and the calendar gained international interest.
After completing his Bachelor of Performing Arts Management at the prestigious Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, Kelly has worked in a range of capacities across both the entertainment and events industry. Kelly has been involved in an impressive portfolio of events which include the World of Wearable Art Awards Show, Jim Beam Homegrown and the World Masters Games to name a few. Originally from Whakatane, Kelly is now based in Wellington but more often than not he is traveling around the country working on his many events. Locally, Kelly is the current Event Manager of the Beacon Business & Leisure show, an event he has been involved with for over ten years. Kelly’s attention to detail and high expectations result in exceptional events. Kelly believes events are about creating memorable and unique experiences and he is always looking for ways to push the boundaries and deliver something new.
Chrystal has been involved with events since her high school dedication to the ‘Smokefree Stage Challenge.’ Since moving to the Eastern Bay of Plenty she began volunteering for Sunshine and a Plate and has continued to give her time to this event along with many others, eventually becoming an integral part of the tea,. Chrystal works hard to get the results needed and goes out of her way to ensure all regulatory issues are well-met and everything runs smoothly. Her strength in training volunteers and new staff is second to none!
